The Chinese Community Challenge Cup, co-hosted by the Frank Soo Foundation and the London Chinese Community Centre, is proud to announce our association with Empire Casino, who will be the official sponsors of the Chinese Community Challenge Cup South 2017, to be held in London on 8th July.
Our association with Empire will allow us to realise our dreams of supporting and guiding the next generation of young footballers, who wish to emulate Frank Soo. Furthermore, our co-hosts, the London Chinese Community Centre and their Youth Program, will benefit greatly from these much needed funds.
Frank was and is the only player of Chinese and East Asian descent to have ever played for the England national team but his name has since been lost in the sands of time.
Empire Casino and the Frank Soo Foundation believe that there is a large Chinese and East Asian community and within that, a large pool of talent that can achieve what Frank did. We are his legacy and we will strive to continue his passion of coaching young footballers as they continue on their footballing journey.
The directors of the Frank Soo Foundation wholeheartedly wish to thank Empire Casino for their very generous donation. If you wish to know more about Frank Soo and the Foundation, then please visit: www.thefranksoofoundation.org.uk
Please note, there are only 4 team places left in London and 6 in Manchester (as of Sunday 28th May). Once these are filled up, we will not extend the competition due to size limitation at the respective venues.
